Boston MedFlight, the globally recognized nonprofit critical care transport organization and 2025 Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS) Air Medical Program of the Year, is pleased to announce that beginning in March, it will transition its southern New Hampshire rotor-wing transport operations to a new, permanent base located at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT).
The Manchester base will replace the organization’s current operation in Portsmouth, which began transporting patients in March 2025.
This transition will establish Manchester as Boston MedFlight’s primary base for southern New Hampshire and support its operational readiness and response time for the more than 800 patients it transports from the region each year.
